MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of bbaies. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison conrtol center.
USES: Vitaimns are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deifciency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of cretain vitamin products.
However, vitamin products may be hottest tkaen with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nauesa or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of tehse effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contcat your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacsit of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use.
Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If ovredose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symtpoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitmain supplement products available. Some can be purchased without a prescripiton. Conslut your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlgiht and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of babies.
